Sharika Khondaker | Senior | Technical Writing Lead
Sharika Khondaker is a senior at Hagerty High School, and this is her fourth year being part of the Hagerty Robotics team. She joined the team because she wants to pursue a career in engineering, and being part of the robotics program would help develop skills needed.

Luke Spencer | Sophomore | Hardware Lead
Luke Spencer is a sophomore at Hagerty High School and this is his second year on the Hagerty Robotics Team. He has been doing robotics for three years. He joined Hagerty Robotics in order to gain helpful experience in the field of engineering and to meet new people. His dream career is aero engineering.

Siddhant Kuwar | Sophomore | Software Lead
Siddhant Kuwar is a sophomore at Hagerty High School, and this is his second year being part of the Hagerty Robotics team. He joined the team because he wants to occupy his mind in some sort of brain work and interesting activity. His ambition is to be something in the medical field and wants to integrate robotics in his dream career.

Coaches and Mentors
Steven Ibarguen | Retired Robotics Teacher
Stefan Ibarguen is a mentor for the Hagerty Robotics Program, and has been with our program since 2013, when he was teaching AP Computer Science and Robotics classes at our school. He is no longer teaching classes, but continues as a mentor for the program due to his personal interest in STEM.

Po Dickision | Robotics Coach
Po Dickison is the Media Specialist at Hagerty High School. She is the original founder of Hagerty Robotics in 2010 and has been instrumental in our progress and success. Mrs. Dickison finds sponsors, fundraising opportunities, and outreach events for the club to participate in. She dedicates hours to looking at forums and finding the answers to the questions the teams may have. In addition to her role as a coach, she is the school’s Robotics program administrator where she prepares reports for the district.

Edgar Madruga | Returning Alumni
Edgar Madruga graduated from Hagerty High School in 2018 and is currently a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Central Florida. He enjoys FTC and VEX robotics and wishes to help students learn more about STEM. He works at Cole Engineering Services, and assists students at Hagerty with his hardware and software knowledge. Outside of school, Edgar enjoys watching Sci-Fi movies.
